ps|ocm - Documentation :: _site_ Folder

Published September 15, 2023

The "_site_" folder contains the overall configuration file for the system to use when creating the final web site ("_site_.txt") as well as any files used as the basis of the site (such as the "about" page, the privacy policy page, contact page, ...).

When reading the files to form the web site, the system starts with the "_site_.txt" file to confirm that it exists and is valid before proceeding. An error message will be given if it is not there and in a valid format with the final site failing to generate. For more information about this file, please visit the page "ps|ocm - Documentation :: _site_.txt File".

When reading the "_site_.txt" file, the system will determine which other files should exist (such as "about.txt") to form the basis of the site. These file are read just like any other file and given the proper web page setup, but if you have advertisements enabled, they will not appear on any file created from a file located in the "_site_" folder.
